17 Joe Willock s equaliser was Newcastle s 17th shot from inside the box against Spurs today; their most in a single Premier League game under Steve Bruce. Invited.

Spurs had Hugo Lloris to thank for keeping the score level in the 19th minute, as he produced a brilliant double save to deny Dwight Gayle.
But Newcastle did score soon after, Sean Longstaff teeing up Joelinton for an easy finish after Davinson Sanchez made a mess of a clearance.
Tottenham s response was swift.
Kane equalised from close range following a mix-up between Emil Krafth and Martin Dubravka from a Giovani Lo Celso pass.
And by the 34th minute it was 2-1 to Spurs, Kane once again finding the net as he latched on to Tanguy Ndombele s throughball and blasted across Dubravka.
In an end-to-end second period, Joelinton failed to convert two glorious chances either side of Miguel Almiron clearing a Japhet Tanganga header off the line, the Brazilian missing the target twice from less than 12 yards out.
Kane looked set to put the game beyond Newcastle in the 85th minute, only to be denied by the left-hand post.
The hosts went straight up the other end and equalised – Joelinton s header was flicked on by Almiron and Sanchez nudged into the path of Willock, who emphatically slammed it in off the crossbar.
What does it mean? Newcastle show fighting spirit
For much of this season, Newcastle fans have bemoaned the team s perceived lack of intensity, invention and spirit – that was not the case here.
Their 22 shots was the joint-most they have managed in a single game this season and, were it not for some fine saves by Lloris, they would have scored more than two.
They could yet finish the day in the relegation zone, though this performance should provide a significant boost in self-belief for the upcoming fight to avoid the drop.
Kane a killer
If there was one Spurs player who did deserve to win, it was Kane. The England striker took his goals tally to 19 for the Premier League season, though when you add assists to that, his goal involvements figure is a whopping 32. If he had just kept his footing he may have ended the day with a hat-trick that would have surely secured a win, though no blame can be laid at his feet. Without him Spurs would have been well-beaten.
Vinicius anonymous
You would be forgiven for not realising Carlos Vinicius started alongside Kane here. Granted, the burly Brazilian is not the type of player who s going to fashion lots of chances for himself or others, he requires service, yet he did not manage a single shot and had just 15 touches during his 45 minutes on the pitch. Unsurprisingly he was hooked at the break.
